We’re a mortgage broker, who since 2018 have been helping our clients realise their property dreams by getting them the mortgage they need to enable their purchase.

Colleagues and friends James Miles and Michael Tilston launched The Mortgage Quarter in 2018 after 10 years of working at Halifax and Lloyds Banking Group. We were inspired to make our services accessible to all and focused on the customer’s needs rather than the interests of the shareholders. At The Mortgage Quarter, we welcome all clients and strive to get the best outcome for every single one.

We assist all house buyers, from first-time buyers to home movers, luxury home buyers, the self-employed and property investors, so whatever your property purchase, we can help. You’ll find us friendly, welcoming, and the opposite in approach to the archetypal “stuffy” mortgage broker.

When we’re not finding and arranging mortgages, we do what we can to support the local community. This year we’re supporting the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity and Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).
